I recently purchased a 14' aluminum springcraft with ez loader trailer from a local classified site for $500.00. i was happy with the overall solid shape of the both of them but did need some major reconstructive surgery to the boat.. Re: trailer conversion to a pontoon boat not very practical... there are two types of pontoon trailers, either a scissor type trailer which supports the deck, but also has a very narrow wheelbase, or bunk trailer which supports the tubes, but also has very small tires and an axle/spring design to keep the height as low as possible.. Re: boat trailer conversion to utility trailer now the only issue is that the trailer is tongue heavy. i will be purchasing a wheel jack. i thought about moving the axle but at this point, i'm happy with the way it's turned out..
